USV products are sold in India and 75 countries worldwide.

India

In India we have a large field force of almost 2067 sales and marketing personnel that work a customer base of over 150,000 physicians. They are supported by an extensive distribution network of 1645 stockists and over 68,000 retail outlets that ensures a high fill-rate of products at the retail end.

International

Internationally we are present in all major markets with portfolios specific to the requirements of each market and governed by local compulsions.

North America, EU, Japan and Australia account for the bulk of our exports with a large contribution from APIs. In Asia and Africa our portfolio consists mainly of Finished Dosages.

Our working arrangements in each market are based on the type of support required by the product, size of our portfolio and market compulsions. For our service oriented API business, we work directly with generic manufacturers as well as agents, many of whom have been with us for over 2 decades.

In the case of Finished Dosages we have our own offices and dedicated sales force in some markets while we work through agents, affiliates and partners in others.

An emerging opportunity for us in USA is ANDAs which are licensed through Indicus Pharma, our US based affiliate.

In EU and other markets our licensing of dossiers is linked to supply of Finished Dosages for which we also have business collaborations with partners who are leading generic and multinational companies.
