USV Limited has been awarded the prestigious Silver Patent award in the category of "Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients" for the year 2008-09. This award is instituted by Pharmexcil, apex body under Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The award was presented by Mr. Anand Sharma, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Government of India, on Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Indo-Africa Pharma Business Meet at the Convention Centre, Hotel Marriot in Hyderabad. The award recognizes USV's contribution in discovering novel and cost effective ways and methods for developing APIs.
