USV has a very aggressive R&D programme and my job is to see to it that we achieve programme goals. For this, we are using models like the balance scorecard approach wherein we are measuring our business performance from the financial perspective, customers’ perspective, our internal processes, and the learning and growth.
I’ve been over 4 years in USV now and the best thing I like about this company is its work culture. It nurtures a lot of learning with a lot of fun.
Besides my role in R&D programme management, I am also a part of the team which manages USV’s official website.

I belong to that part of USV which is responsible for collecting people together with just a mouse click. I take care of SAP as an Administrator. SAP being the backbone of the business operations, my focus is on making it work seamlessly across all the locations.
I report to our MD who is a graduate from Cornell Univeristy, USA. Being an IT savvy person, he is the one who has set up all our infotech systems.
I really enjoy my work here as my role is really challenging and there is (a-delete) continuous scope for learning which makes my work all the more interesting..
As a woman, I feel really comfortable at the thought that our Chairperson is a woman too. Talk about women’s contribution to industry, you’ll see it work in USV!

I take care of the cardiac portfolio of USV. One dream I had was to do with USV - to become a successful product manager. USV has always been like a family to me. I joined the USV family eleven months ago (in May 2004) and I now take care of corporate HR and training functions. Every morning as I walk into this office, I have a happy feeling as I watch my learning curve go up. This place offers you tremendous exposure and support to grow. Although I had close to a decade of experience in information handling in different industries, USV was my first Pharma experience and the first in handling IPR as well.
