We lead the oral anti-diabetic segment in India in terms of value as well as prescriptions. We have maintained a leadership position in this segment for almost two decades. 32% of our sales are contributed by the anti-diabetic portfolio, which includes insulin.
We lead in the cardiovascular disease segment in terms of prescription generation. In terms of value, we rank amongst the first 10 companies in India. The cardiology portfolio contributes 32% to our sales.
Presence in Respiratory, Nutritionals, Orthopaedics and Gynaecology segments is attributed to innovative products through partnerships with companies from Europe and USA.
We have a significant presence in Dermatology with a leadership position in the anti-acne segment. We have recently launched Sebamed range of skin-care products from Europe.
USV has also ventured into the CNS segment with the launch of a new division to cater the needs of Neurologists and Psychiatrists.
