INGREDIENTS
Parnaparin sodium, prefilled syringes of 3,200 aXa IU and 6,400 aXa IU

CATEGORY
Low molecular weight heparin, anticoagulant

INDICATIONS & DOSAGE
Unstable angina
6,400 aXa IU per day either in one or two divided doses within 24 hrs of onset of chest pain and continued for 7 days

Prevention of Deep vein thrombosis
Low risk patients: 3,200 aXa IU 2 hrs before the surgery and continued after the surgery for 7-10 days
High risk patients: 6,400 aXa IU 12 hrs before the surgery and to be continued for 7-10 days post surgery

Treatment of deep vein thrombosis
6,400aXa IU bid for the first 7-10 days followed by 6,400 aXa IU for 20-30 days

Peripheral vascular disease
6,400aXa IU od for 6 months

Prevention of clotting in hemodialysis
3,200 aXa IU as a bolus to be injected in the extracorporeal circuit at the time of dialysis.
