INGREDIENTS
Each tablet contains 97.875mg of clopidogrel equivalent to 75mg of clopidogrel base

CATEGORY
Clopidogrel is an anti-platelet agent belonging to the class of thienopyridines

INDICATION
1 Reduction of atherosclerotic events (Myocardial Infarction, Stroke and vascular death) in patients with atherosclerosis indicated by recent ischaemic stroke, myocardial infarction and peripheral vascular disease
2 In combination with aspirin for prevention of thrombosis in stent recipients
3 In acute coronary syndromes along with aspirin

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
1 For secondary prevention, 75 mg once daily. The drug can be administered with or without meals
2 For prevention of restenosis, the recommended dose is 300 - 600mg 2-24 hrs before stent implantation on day one followed by 75mg daily
3 In Acute coronary syndrome, 300mg stat within 24 hrs of event followed by 75mg for 3 to 12 months
