INGREDIENTS
Each Capsule contains Oral Sustained release Nitroglycerin 2.5mg / 6.5mg

CATEGORY
Antianginal

INDICATION
1. Chronic Stable Angina Pectoris :
Angispan-TR is used as first line therapy for prevention of anginal attacks
2. Unstable Angina Pectoris :
During an attack, IV NTG is instituted, after the patient has been stabilised, oral Angispan TR is gradually replaced
3. Acute Myocardial Infarction :
Post MI, Angispan -TR is instituted to prevent late ventricular remodelling

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
Administer the smallest effective dose at 8-10 hour interval unless clinical response suggests a different regimen. The dosage should be titrated depending upon relief from angina or the haemodynamic response which can be measured by vasodilation which produces flushing, dizziness, headache or fall in systolic BP. To prevent tolerance, the drug can be given at 6.00am & 3.00pm (Eccentric Dosing) or 6.00am & 6.00pm (Concentric Dosing)
