Dwij means 'Second birth'. Patients with schizophrenia &
psychosis who bravely fought this serious mental disorder &
successfully returned to normal life were rewarded with
Dwij Puraskar. Dwij Puraskar also appreciates their family members who
played a vital role in their second birth.
Dr. Anand Nadkarni, an eminent Psychiatrist from Thane, Director - IPH
(Institute for Psychological Health) & USV jointly organised this event.
Chief guests were Dr. Prakash Amte & Dr. Mrs. Mande Amte (Magsaysay Award Winner 2008) and
